The IT Service in conjunction with our contractor will be replacing the St Johns firewall on Saturday 17th February ahead of the Offer Holder event later that day.
All works are intended to have been completed by 08:30 and if any problems are detected, services will be rolled back to their original state to prevent any disruption to the Offer Holder Day, which is due to begin at 10:00.
This is a major upgrade and so whilst the new firewall is being installed, short outages to the internet on campus are possible and the following connected services should also be considered at risk of disruption:
- Guest WiFi outages - University Wordpress sites and the WBS Plesk Server - SOLE - Windows Virtual Desktop - Tribly Display Signage Screens - The Staff homepage - Reddot internal University webpages
