A university contractor, JISC, will be completing further UK-wide works affecting several HE institutions including the University of Worcester and its internet/data connection.

These works will take place on Thursday 21st March 2024 between 07:00-09:00. It is envisioned that services will be disrupted for at least 30 minutes of that period on the St Johns Campus.

Whilst these works take place, outbound connections to the internet from campus will still be possible but some systems, services and connections will be disrupted including SOLE, the Staff Homepage, University internal (Reddot) webpages, Virtual Private Netowrk (VPN) access, University hosted applications, Hive Vocera incoming calls, and eResources accessed via shibboleth or Ezproxy,

This scheduled maintenance affected: Communications Systems (Hive Vocera), Wireless Networks (VPN (FortiClient)), and Systems (SOLE, University Reddot Websites, WBS Plesk Server, University Staff WordPress Webpages & Plesk Service, University Staff Homepage, Library eResources).
